'SWIM to SYNCHRO' is 'special needs, ' youths with cognitive or physical disabilities camp. This 10 session 2hr (twice a week) Evening Summer Camp program (6pm to 8pm) includes land/play for 1hr then 45mins of pool time. Swimmers will learn pool safety and drowning prevention. We will refresh the basic swim strokes and then transition to artistic swimming elements (ie: water back tuck somersaults, tubs, splits, and other fun beginner elements in the pool!). This is a small group introductory artistic swim camp for boys and girls ages (anytime in 2026)>8 to 13yrs old. $700 (You will also be given priority registration in August for our seasonal team competitive program if there are any openings in our pre-comp/T1 program).
Artistic swimming is an Olympic sport (and potentially a future Paralympic Sport) that has competitive teams locally, regionally, and statewide with private, collegiate, and Team USA National teams. It is an aquatic sport that involves the grace of ballet, the art of dance, the agility of gymnastics, and the athleticism of swimming. It is a fun, fast-paced, and unique sport that is inclusive for all abilities.
REQUIRED PRE-requisites: (NO exceptions!)
1) Must be able to comprehend & practice pool safety/drowning prevention techniques
2) Must be able to understand & demonstrate basic swim strokes and have been in a swim program sometime in the past 2 years.
3) Must be able to enter/exit the pool without any assistance. Due to safety & capacity policies, we will not allow parents/caregivers in the pool with swimmers.
4) Must be able to produce a letter of medical clearance & special needs documentation for swim/pool activity upon registration to accommodate special needs swimmers.
We have a limit of 12 swimmers, first-come, first-served (Google online registration), which will open on May 8th, 2026. Location TBA (Indoor Pool in West San Jose/Campbell area)
FULL payment of $700 will be due within 48hrs after registration via Zelle or Venmo payment. (Upon registration, you will be given the payment information)
REFUND policy:
75%: if you cancel by May 18th
50%: if you cancel by June 1st.
NOTE: CAMP will be cancelled if the program does not meet the minimum 8 required participants by June 1st. IF that happens, everyone enrolled/paid will receive a FULL refund!
